Liquid pitch
Propagation Pitch for Known Brew Dates
Standard house ale strains are £165 for a 10 hl wort pitch. Lager and seasonal strains are £210. Ale pitches need 5 working days' notice. Lager strains need 7 working days. First liquid pitch orders require a 50% deposit.
Pitch sizing depends on batch volume, gravity, target temperature and whether the beer is expected to crop cleanly for repitch.
Send brewery name, brew date, batch size, original gravity, target fermentation temperature and delivery postcode. If it is for a repitch plan, include crop number and last tank performance.
Martin’s unfashionable view is that planned yeast handling beats rescue work almost every time. He would rather look at a dull spreadsheet with pitch date, tank, gravity, temperature, crop number and viability than hear a dramatic story about a heroic save at 22:40. Most stuck fermentations begin as missing information several days earlier: yeast warmed on a pallet, a cone cropped too late, a lager pitch booked like an ale pitch, a tank number guessed because someone was in a hurry. Brew Nutrition will help when a brewery is in trouble, but the service is built around repeatable fermentation, labelled vessels, cold transport and records that are boring enough to be useful.

Nutrients and salts
Zinc, FAN Support and Kettle Additions
| Item | Pack size | Use or dose basis | Storage or lead time | Price or supply term |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zinc fermentation support | 1 litre and 5 litre packs | Dosed to brewery process note after wort gravity and yeast crop history are checked | Stock item when process note is approved. Store cool and sealed | Quoted after process notes |
| FAN support blend | 1 kg and 5 kg tubs | Kettle or FV addition set from gravity, oxygenation and yeast generation notes | Usually ships with dry goods before 13:00 when stocked | Quoted after process notes |
| Kettle salts and trace additions | 1 kg bags or weighed trade packs | Sold against written addition point and brewhouse volume | Allow 2 working days for weighed packs | Quoted after process notes |
Nutrients are sold only to breweries with process notes. Brew Nutrition will ask where the addition is made, whether the wort is oxygenated, how yeast is cropped and whether the same fault appears across brands. That question set is slower than selling a tub, and much cheaper than overdosing a healthy process.
